Been lurking since 09 and I finally have my kickass 6.0 LQ4LQ4 LQ9 6.0L Engine Service Manual Save to your computer in case it disappears
I used the original harness supplied with the 6.0. Modified it for my truck. I retained the A/C and cruise control. I'm sure your vehicle will be different with all it's accessories and difference in year from mine. It took some work but I felt it was worth it. It gave me a better understanding of the entire electrical system.

Ok, So finally after almost a year Lextech is finally sending me a pre-programmed 411 as well as A/C Bracket kit. Here is a link to all the info on it (http://www.ls1truck.com/forums/lsx-t...acket-kit.html) I wish Lextech was closer so he can do a live tune, but his pre-tuned 411 will help get the truck started and hopefully run smooth enough for me to take it to ForceFedEngineering (http://www.fferacing.com) to get it Dyno Tuned.
I needed my gear ratio and I was not sure so I finally looked up my RPO code and this website was the besthttp://<a href="http://LonestarThund...hunder.com</a>

So I have 3.42's from the factory. Also needed to know exactly what injectors I am using for the tables and 8.1 Marine Injectors by Delphi Model#17113739.
I picked up the injector's used also the seller got me (I think) in a vulnerable spot) Said he had modified fuel rails (welded AN fitting) help with the swap so for few extra bucks I got them as well. Figure just put less stress on my buddy who is helping me with the swap. I am stuck in a rut with the swap as it comes to getting the Fuel System squared away. Not sure if my Tahoe is return or returnless and same is for my 6.0.
What do I need to order or fabricate to help get fuel to the motor?
Here are the links to the fuel rail

I am personally leaning towards using the 411 with the additional wires for simplicity. If I can't get the wires to look nice and neat then I will go the other route. For now my heart is in re-using the stock harness and making it nice and neat!
How are you guys getting fuel to the LS motor? Am I on the right path with the AN Fitting welded to the rail...need to use a stock one. Some people run a corvette fuel filter and some do not.
I have a 99 OBS Tahoe...what do I need to get this thing fueled before my fiancee finds out I have money set aside and she puts it towards the wedding.
The Corvette filter is for the single fed line to the pre obdII motors. If I remember correctly. Yours should have 2 lines. A feed and return. from what I gather there are fittings that attach to the furl rail lines and will snap into the the lines in the firewall. Maybe with some fuel injection rubber lines for the flexibility.
This is from a thread on here.....

THANKS FOR YOUR RESPONSE...I saw that as well...but on MYZTERRAY build thread which is a 96 ( I am up to page 21 he has ordered parts for the vette filter and his truck is OBD 2 as well) I can not Copy and Paste since I am at work on the 11th page of thread he talks about getting the parts.
It depends on what type of fuel rail you have. do you have a return type or returnless type? i wish i took pics the other day of my finished settup but i forgot so i cant post any. but just look at your rail. if you have two lines headed toward the back, one bigger than the other than you have a return type. if you only have one, its returnless. the guy hacked yours up so you may not have what im talking about anymore. how many an fittings do you have? that should tell you.
anyway, most people convert to an so you can skip a couple parts. if you have returnless, thats when youll need the corvette filter. it has an IN and RETURN on one side and the other goes to the fuel rail. here is a diagram that i found with the required parts/numbers/and shows how they are connected. you will probably not use some of this stuff depending on hows yours is set up. i bought all these parts and it worked like a charm.

Thanks...Well I have two sets of fuel rails...one that is currently on the motor out 00 Chevy 2500 HD and the modified ones...
It might be hard to tell about the HD one de to the pics I took of them...motor assembled. I will look at the "modified" fuel rails later tonight. Chime in and post better pics. The "modified" fuel rail has one AN fitting welded to one rail.
