CFM is the volume of air being moved.
You have to move a certain volume of air before it reaches the maximum of the area causing a restriction generating a PSI measurement.

A motor is a big air compressor! The more air u get in an push out the better everything works. If it flows the more power you will make. That's all it come too! Air in air out!
