The first fixture is a complete DIY led chip setup where you can mix and match for the color spectrum of your choice for 180 shipped!! Take a look the others as well as they may suit your needs too.

At first I was leary about ordering from china, then I read a 160+ page thread on reefcentral about these fixtures and how well they're holding up for the price.

I ordered mine dimmable with 25 cool white, 26 royal blue and 4 uv with built in dual moon lights for 178 shipped. from china it arrived in 6 days, I have had it for over 6 months and over two different tanks with no problems. If I didn't love my metal halide fixtures so much I would have 3 hanging over my tank instead of just one.
Are they programmable with a timer though? I am looking at the reefbreeders now.

Some of the new ones do come with timers. They were in the works when I first bought mine. I bought a $20 coralife powerstrip with timers that does the same thing.

Got the plumbing done for the most part. Still need to paint the back of the tank and paint the return black. Need to stain and find some doors. Should be filling her up on Monday.

Stand is painted, aquarium has sand, rocks, and a little water in it. No leaks. Waiting on my RO/DI unit to get here this afternoon to fill up with water and start the cycle. SCA 180g skimmer is on the way. Reefbreeders LED setup is backordered for the next two weeks.

For a minute there I thought you were rocking one of the deepest aquarium sand beds I've seen.
Haha yeah. I'm really really unhappy with this Ocean Direct live sand. There are so many little sticks and twigs and shit in it. I will go back and aquascape it once the cycle gets started and the sand settles a little better. From 5am-10:30am this morning it cleared up a LOT. Temperature is coming up as well. It was 68 last night and we're at 76 this morning.

I got really lucky with my live rock (I think anyway). I bought 12lbs of it and even though it was 6$ a pound, I got 2-3 Kenya trees with it because they were on one of the rocks. So that made me pretty happy. I put 2 of the rocks in my sump and 2 in the actual tank for now. Skimmer should be here by Friday.

My little helper making sure my live rock doesn't run away.

    Well, it finally cleared up.

Had our first little issue this morning while I was 4 hours away at work. The sock filter clogged and pushed water over the edge of it onto the floor. I will arrange it differently so next time it wont go on the floor.

Where she order em from? They have a cool symbiotic relationship. I thought about getting a pair for my pico tank.
