do you have a factory harness it really isnt that hard to do at all. I just did mine and it was time consuming but pretty easy
get one from psi

99 Silverado 6.0 with original harness reworked. Here's some pics of the wiring:
Spare parts harness from the 99 Escalade(donor of the 4L60E I'm running)
Finished product.
Definitely more time consuming than a "Plug and Play" setup but I feel it gave me a deeper understanding of what's needed to transplant these engines into an older vehicle.

if you can wait you should. i've never seen PSI's harness but i can vouch for Nelsons harness, top notch harness.
I have a Nelson harness in my truck but my buddy can't wait I ordered psi heard good things about them
I reworked my harness but am now trying to figure out how many fuses to run and what wires to group with what. On lt1 swap he shows 1 hot and 3 ignition but what would be the best way to group them?
So I've done two LS swaps now. First one I used a company online (from ebay) to rework an existing harness. They took forever (about 2 months), I had to pre-pay (which is scary using someone online). When I received it, the wiring was fairly sloppy as far as the wrapping and taping. In other words, it looks like a hack job. However, it did work and the car runs just fine. Just not going to win any show awards.
My next project (turbo C20), I ordered the complete NEW harness and PCM from PSI. This thing is sweet. Everything is new. Fits perfectly. I personally wouldn't see why anyone wouldn't go this route for a swap, even though it is a bit more expensive. It's really that nice. You can save a few hundred going other routes, but too me it's just not worth it given the importance of all this working correctly and lasting.
