Get a mail order tune from Nelson and then get him to live tune it when you get to SA. Serious gains to be had with just one of his mail order tunes. If you plan on driving it more than 10,000 miles it will pay for itself if you can keep your foot out of it.
Yeah that's what I'm thinking once spring hits. When I'm commuting I generally drive like and old lady so that's one reason I want a tune haha. My goal eventually is for a smooth not too loud reliable commuter too take to the strip on the weekends. I know I will have to give up some power and E/T for the smooth and reliable but half the fun for me is the tuning and building not just how fast I can go. That and I learned long ago there is always a faster car haha. I suppose my specific plans will come in further threads though. Tons of information already on here I see.

Just lettin you know... Not saying it isnt full but maybe something fishy with it since no painted grill! Alaska huh thats badass!!
Oh I know and I appreciated all the info you more experienced chevy guys can give me! I think this truck may have been ordered from the factory for someone specific since it seems to be an odd combo of options. But I am pretty sure I saw some newer 4x4 Z71's with chrome also.

I have been in Alaska since 2009 and its been an experience! Uncle Sam will be sending me to the lower 48 at the end of next summer though so its time to move on. Truthfully I am ready, I have not been racing or building since I got here. I come from an Autocross background and not much of that here. Although I replaced my love of cars with building firearms since I have been here haha. Again thanks for the info on my truck. The last GM I owned was an 85 Monte Carlo SS when I was 17 and this truck already is making me feel the love for GM V8's... It will have to tow a VW autoX car at some point though I just cant give up my love of German handling also .
