Best trans cooler besides trucool 40k

I am upgrading my trans cooler, doing a fluid and filter change and upgrading to an aluminum finned trans pan with drain. i need some input on a trans cooler. Yes I know trucool is the best, but I don't have enough room for one. I have a light bar mounted behind the grill, the mounts are 12" apart and between the light/bracket and the hood latch assy there is only about 7.5" of room. Inevitably a trucool 40k will not fit. I found a B&M 24k gvw cooler that is 11.25" wide so it will fit between my light brackets. Has anybody ever used one of these coolers? Will there be a significant difference over the stock cooler?

24k will be a significant improvement, stock is more like 10k more or less. However, I would suggest doing what Playboy said and mounting is elsewhere. 40k is the proven best option why mess with success.

Thank you kerrige for answering the question I had asked.

I'm not going to spend too damn much for a 40k, then spend more money to build a new bracket to mount my light. I'm going to spend 1/3 the cost for the B&M, not have to jack with the light, and still see improvements over the stock cooler.

They come off a ford. You can get them at the ford dealer.

You haven't seen the brackets that come with a 40k. You can mount that sucker anywhere. Just bend the brackets to fit. You can literally mount it flat if you want to.
