    I've heard rumors that extended cabs can do very close to 200 mph in the right conditions, but I have also experienced that built drive shafts don't like going that fast.
    The long one piece built and balanced drive shafts like to turn into a jump rope when you get up to speeds well above 170.
    Now I myself do not own an extended cab so I am in no way an authority on the subject at this time.

    I have a top speed reading from a Garmin that was in an extened cab truck... 180+.
    2002 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD. CAI, 4.10's, 35x12.50 r17 Kumho Road Venture M/T's. Nelson Tuned.

    2002 Z28 Camaro- Small budget cam build. Full bolt on, Custom grind Comp Cam, LS6 intake, 4000 CircleD stall, Nelson Tuned.

    2008 Dodge 2500- H&S MiniMax, CAI, DPF delete, EGR delete, AirDog fuel system.

    Welcome to the site, you have come to the right place for LS platform.

    And all you guys that like to go really, really, really fast are crazy in my opinion!
