    1993 Chevy 1500 4.3 to LS1 fuel pump help

I have been reading threads trying to nail down exactly what I need here, and am now thoroughly confused. From what I understand, I have to replace the fuel pump and fuel filter that came on the truck because they will not work with the LS1 and its electronics. I am pretty set on getting a Walbro 255, but I don't know exactly the one to get. Is there one that is basically "bolt in?" Is there one that is easier to wire in than the others? Any kind of advice and especially part numbers and experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I have buy a Edelbrock pump, its a walbro 255 in the box but its not installed yet so I can't tell you much about it.All I know it come with the pigtail adapter and strainer.
I recommend you to buy it from a reputable store because they sale a lots of fake walbro on ebay.

Trust me, I won't be buying from E-scam lol. What is the reason for not being able to use the stock pump anyways? I have seen conflicting information all over the interwebs.

The TBI fuel system operate at around 12psi and you need to have 58 psi AFTER the FPR with the LS1...(except if you go carb, dont do this.)

Just replaced my fuel pump sending unit and pump for my '94 1500 4X4 with '99 6.0 engine. I got a used sending unit from a later model Chevy Pickup truck with the Vortec type small block. Anything from '96 to '99 should get you close. Those are the years after the TBI engines that used the Vortec type multiport fuel injection. Not to be confused with the LS type engine also called the Vortec. I bought a brand new Delphi fuel pump on E bay. Part number is FE0114. It was a direct replacement for the original pump. The original pump would have worked but I wasn't going to chance it.
As for the driveability, the engine actually starts faster than it did with the original pump from the 99 Silverado I got the 6.0 from. I couldn't be more pleased. A working gas guage and instant starts. It's a win/win situation.

A standard Vortec injected 305/350 fuel pump and sender from a 95- to 98 is all you need. When they updated to the Vortec injection in '95, it was a multiport fuel injection system requiring a higher fuel pressure. The LS engines also use this same high pressure system to run.

It also required changing a couple wires at the pump but it was not complicated. Your original fuel pump relay can also be used but must get it's acuating power from the new PCM.
