Are you only doing "SS" designs? I have a black Z28 with black "Z28" emblems that pretty much blend in with the background and can't be seen too well.t It would look real nice with some stainless steel "Z28" emblems on there. Just an idea.

I don't think it's that bad to put SS emblems on a non ss truck, jmo.

I posted this on the silveradoss.com forum and there seems to be ppl interested in it, so i figured why not here too.

I'll send over the Z28 emblem sketch too br1ev8, and see what he'll do them for.

well when my can out run a real SS. why shouldnt i be able to put them on.
its not my fault that they didnt have one when i bought mine, plus if they would have had a single cab version then i would have bought one. screw'em if they dont like it. i like the ss but i dont think and extended cab is the right way to go for a super sport truck just in my opinion. dont get me wrong im not nockin anyone with an extended cab. that was your coice as was mine of buying a single cab. its personall prefrence. and there are several extended cabs out thaere that are pretty damn fast. plus street scen offers a front bupper cover to turn the front of 99-02 front ends into an SS.i would have loved to of bought an SS but 40 grand is a bit much for a truck that runs slower than mine. and with all the things that i have purchased i still am not near spending that kind of money.
hey guys this is just my opinion not here to start anything . just wanted to make that clear.

Sounds like you have the right attitude. I just wasn't sure how people perceived this, I see a lot of SS-350 decals on trucks, and I don't think chevy ever produced a SS-350 truck.

I got S10 SS badges on mine. No 1999 SS Silverado. I wish I would of did a reg. cab but needed the extra room so extend cab was my choice. People don't know the differant in body styles and the I hate the new front ends.

I think I will put some SS emblems on my truck when I put in the LS1, at least then I would feel like I was closer to an SS. Yeah, I am not real impressed with the new front ends myself, but I think the SS front end looks real good with the bumper cover. It sucks, cause the aftermarket industry has taken a real liking to them.

I see older trucks with SS on them all the time! Install all the emblems you want and never mind what anyone thinks. I bet people think I'm crazy for installing a LS1 im my "OLD FARMTRUCK" but I could care less what they think, I'm having fun with it!!

Yeah but with an LS1 under the hood I will have a reason to call it an SS. Theres nothing super about my 4.8.
