    Let's talk turkey

Its getting close to Thanksgiving so lets talk about how y'all cook your turkeys!

The last couple years we have made one in a big ass pit bar-b-que. This year I'm wanting to try and do a Cajun spiced turkey in the pit. Should be pretty good if all goes well.

Smoked turkey, spend about 8 hours on the pit. We usually cook 5-6 birds and every piece is gone at the end of the day. Mmmmm

    Only 5-6?

My neighbor has a pit he built for this. Its 6' deep, 6' wide x 4' across. Lined with fire brick and about a foot of concrete all the way around. I think we did about 150 last year.

You're all a bunch of turkeys! Jive turkeys no less.

Canadian way to cook turkey? Shove it in the oven til it's done, then take it out two hours later. Mmmm cardboard.

Fried turkey is the way to go.

Lmao this sounds like my wife's cooking.... That's why I cook the main course 90% of the time unless it ramen noodles or hamburger helper
