03 2500HD 4WD lq4/4l80e ==>> 1980 K10 Chassis...T Case options
As the title says I have a 1980 K10. I am going to be swapping in a 03 lq4 with 4l80e trans. I need to figure out what will be the best T- case to use. It will need to be drivers side drop and I would like to have the Speed sensor so I can still have cruise if i decide to do that. It is DBW. I am also wondering what type of adapter I will need. It is a 12 bolt rear.. and i think a dana front 10 bolt?.. not 100 percent... Im not at the same location as the truck right now... Also need to be sure the case will hold up to about 500 to 600 rwhp... my future plans involve a big single turbo..
Thanks

anyone? I'm thinking an NP 241... I've found, only from forum research... not actual research that the 89-91 k2500 suburban has an NP 241 passenger side drop with VSS.. Any thoughts on this? Pro or con?

I did a little looking into this once when I was considering FORD one tons to go under my 90 burb, and a 241 from an ifs truck would have bolted to my 700r4 and worked just fine, i believe the story is the same.

I've since read a lot. But u think the 205 is a better option.. Off of any th400 older than say 87 pickup.. Correct me if I'm wrong.. Then get the adapter for speed sensor? Any thoughts?
