Exactly what I was thinking... I mean, they're kinda planning their own death if you ask me. People buy these GM motors because of their ease of modification and tuning, so why would you go mess that up? Greedy. Ya it all gets done eventually, but waiting sucks and I know dodge at least is selling the rights now to bully dog. So maybe GM will do something similar in the future, but I doubt it. Hptuners spends a crap ton of time getting this stuff done, and it seems to never end.

With all the stand alone computers out there, I dont think its going to be a problem. Just yank the stock computer and slap the stand alone in and youre good to go.
That may be in there to cover their a$$, especially against lawsuits.

yup are right there. EFI live will not unlock the LML 2011 and up Dmaxs due to that purpose. I wouldn't exspect them to open this one up. Maybe HPtuners has the sack to do so.

Wait I don't get this? Why would a tuning company be worried about a law suit against them from anyone? It's a use at your own risk product if everyone that messed up a tune could sue them they would be screwed 10000x by now.
