    Disc axles vs drum axles

Im looking to do a drum swap on my 04 and I need to know if the axles are different. Im supposed to be picking up axles and brakes from a junkyard tomorrow but idk if I need the axles or not. Can someone please clarify?

I swapped the complete axle from my brothers '06. He had drums and swapped to disc. The only thing that didn't match up was the parking brake. But you're looking to see if the end flanges will accept the drum back plates, correct?

I think so lol. So youre saying if I keep my stock axles, they will work but I wont have a parking brake?

yea I misread what you said. I want to just swap discs to drums, but do I need to swap axle shafts to do this?

well i absolutely love my 325/50/15 nitto 555r's. I lost about 1psi with the 2step bc they dont hold as hard as the drums but its just fine with me bc the added traction is amazing
