i think for 120K i could have a nice boat and 3 badass ls motors that made more then 1350 hp combined.

Them mercs been in the works for years. Gm/merc designed all the 4 valve stuff going on with it. There is a 28 eliminator with 2 cam only 5.3's in it that runs about 110.![]()

3500 to 4000 is typical cruse rpm in a performance boat. And they could be sitting there for a few hours if heading off shore. And to top that off that is usually at 50-65% throttle position. So there is a decent load all the time. There are also a few boats running the LSA motors.

I'd put that thing in my Larson, lol. Pretty sick indeed but yeah, $120k seems quite steep considering some of the latest performance boats out there.

It can be done right. The new ilmor MV8 is LS based and so are some of the new mercury motors going in the roll bar boats. (Mastercraft, malibu, ect.)

No jealousy.I'm not hating. I only use roll bar boats for wake surfing. There are literally 1000 miles of water ways in my back yard. So cruiseing around at 30-40 just doesn't cut it. We go from bar to bar and city to city covering a few hundred miles a day.
