    Cam that will work with 706 Heads

    Ok I have a set of stage 2 ported heads they have been milled .010 and the bigger 1.60/2.02 valves I'm unsure of with cam to run these will be on a 5.3 stock bottom end I was spec a 223/227 607/610 on a 112 Lsa any input would be great

    Sounds like a very strong cam. You will need a good sized stall to match. I would go at least 3200, but 34-3600 would be better.

    Okay in that case it sounds like a solid cam for you. It will love spray too.

    No one will truly be able to tell if there will be PTV issues without knowing more about the cam profiles and the valve events like where will the piston be in the bore when you're at max lift. Best guess is to call the people who ground the cam and give them the specs of the heads and valves and tell them what motor its going in. Most likely there wont be a problem since people have run .625 lift in a stock 5.3 without issues, but I would still make absolutely positive.

    Yeah that what I was trying to make sure before I order the cam she guy who did the head work spec me the cam but he was like u should shill check it with clay but I want the cam for sure so I don't disassemble the motor and not have a cam that will work

    Of you know the lobe pattern it would help a lil... Lxl/lsl lobes are common now and great on valvetrain!
