But running in 4hi down the track is sure going to eat up that drivetrain! I know a guy that is running a 427 LS1 derived motor in his lifted S-10 (that is kicking out 510hp right now and should be pretty close to 600hp by spring) and he runs 2hi for the drag strip as far as I know. On the dunes however he runs 4hi with paddles to absolutely spank the V8 Jeep buggy guys.
