    6.0 gto cam swap in 4.8 silverado

    Anythoughts on a cam from a gto for my 2012 silv 4.8 Budget is tight dont need a big cam just more than stock always nice.

    I'm pretty sure it won't work as easy as you might think. Does your 4.8 have a 3 or 1 bolt cam? If yours is a 1 bolt, you'll need to swap out the timing set and I think some other things as well. I'm pretty sure all the GTO cams are 3 bolt. Do some more research to be sure.

    Ls2 cam is smaller than a ls6 cam, not worth it.
