    Pics on shaved truck intakes

    Hi everyone.

    Is their anyone who has shaved their intakes? i´ve found a few on ls1tech bot interested to see if anyone here has done it? the

    that looks good, i never thought about doing that when i had mine apart.

    I think I found my next project. What would you do with the wiring though?

    I saw the thread about this over on ls1tech. I'm planning on shaving mine in the next week, ill take plenty of pics along the way.
    I am planning on pulling the wiring from the looms and running all of it underneath the rails to the rear of the motor.

    Got my intake shaved today, its in raw plastic now. I have to do some slight body filler since the intake is not nice and straight and I slightly gouged it in about three places.
    I figured I would do it later this week but it took me about two hours this afternoon.
    Unfortunately something isn't meshing with my phone, WiFi and my photobucket app tonight so no pics yet.
    I attached a pic of it smoothed out and all the misc hardware tossed on there to see how it looks.
