    Tci makes a ls to 400 flywheel. And the spacer for the converter u need. Hit zach up as he done same swap and has all part numbers. Screen name is chevrolade

    you can also run a Circle D converter and flexplate. Thats what im running. It was $1100 for the pair

    that spacer that comes with the tci flywheel for the ls engines is a pos!
    it basically extends the snout of the converter so it goes into the crank.
    that spacer free floats/spins.
    the noise is creates sounds like you just screwed the trans install up.

    solution, tig weld the spacer to the crank, only takes a few tiny tig tacks.

    Ok thanks for the heads up Allen..is there no way I can run the flywheel I already have,and just buy a converter for the th400 to Ls?

    as long as the offset is fine, you can opt to drill out the holes on the flexplate. i haven't done this, we either get the converter bolt holes mounts built for the trans/engine type or use the tci plate.

    The flexplate from Circle D is $150 and is a direct bolt on and its SFI certified
