does anyone know which pin on the PCM connector gives a switched constant 12v? I have a lq4 swap, and need the tacm to turn on after the PCM to calibrate correctly. thanks

C1 19 is 12v switched. You can also use a wire from your ignition switch.

c1 19 is switched from the key source correct? I need a 12v source that comes from the PCM after it has turned on.
The pcm is always on solid orange wires are 12v constant (for pcm memory), solid pink is 12v switched. Maybe what you need is c2 15 Brown wire, it tells the alternator to turn on after engine is running.

exactly. I just need the tacm to be switched by the PCM, not anything before it for it's own self testing reasons. c2 15 is a good thought. I'm gonna go try this rite now.
well it was a good thought, but not the cure. I just switched the tuned PCM into a stock, running and driving truck. the code, symptoms, and cause all followed to the other truck. so my problem is the PCM. thanks anyway!!
Just looked up diagram, the tac module is powered by 12v switched pin #7 on tac module connector c1.
