What you want is two speed (aka series-parallel) fans. With this setup, the pcm will enable low speed(both fans) at a calibrated coolant temp of your choice, say 196°F. Then enable high speed (both fans) at another calibrated coolant temp, maybe 225°F. When operating in low speed, they are so quiet you can't even tell they're running. Surely NP can accommodate you.
