Was looking at power company too. Start out as Maintenance man for $18.50 and bid my way up to be a lineman making $40+. If i wasn't a family man that would work. No way i could go from my $28 now to $18 in hopes to get on a lineman crew.

I've been waiting on "owner approval" at this place for the last two months. I've been in for three interviews and I'm told they are going to hire me,just dunno if its tomorrow or next month. Starts at 40k a year, company dmax, fuel, expense account, benefits. My uncle has been there a year and already making 75 a year.
Also waiting on a call back from baker hughes. They also told me I was in the running for one of ten positions. Only 18$ an hour, but 100 hours a week.
My dad works for Baker Hughes.

I know this is pl4yboy thread and im not tryin to jack it, but im desperately looking for a good paying work in the oil and gas field. if anybody has contacts, i would greatly appreciate it
