    Utility SxS recommendation?

Looking for more of a utility based SxS. I went and priced out one of these...

    http://www.deere.com/wps/dcom/en_US/...825i/825i.page

    $17,052 out the door!

New to the SxS game, recommendations are appreciated!

Polaris ranger, hands down. I love my 800 efi with power steering. It'll run 45 down the road if I need and gets along great in mud, plus has a large dump bed.

Mine isn't power dump but that may be an option. I know with 500 lbs in the bed, I can dump it by myself. The way it's set up, the latches are in the front and it sort of dumps itself with just a little effort. I can take measurements of you need them, but it's one of the biggest beds I've seen.

The power steering alone I'd worth it in my opinion. I've driven multiple sxs and I wouldn't trade my ranger for any of them.

Thanks for the info! Have you seen the new Gator? Not what I'm looking for, but looks like John Deere is trying to step up their game!

I haven't looked at anything new since I got mine last year. We got ours for around 14500 brand new. It did have some wiring issues that Polaris took care of. They replaced the entire engine harness. My bed measures 54.5 wide, 36.5 long, and 11 deep.

If you're looking for simply a workhorse, the new Hondas aren't too shabby. They don't have a lot of ground clearance though. If you want some pictures of mine I can text you some. Pm me a number.

Owned a Yamaha Rhino 660 for a while, it was unstoppable, and the bed dumped easily, although not the biggest bed on the market. I loved that Rhino and would buy another in a heart beat!

Yes, a lot more work than play. But obviously still want to have some fun in it too!
