I have a 219/230 .604/.607 cam on a 117+2LSA and it runs pretty damn well for such a big split. Went with the cam based on plans to add a turbo here soon just hasnt happened quite yet. Still running the stock stall for the time being because the truck will hopefully be going through some pretty big changes by the end of next year.
I didn't say you can't, but people who's primary goal is an efficient highway cruiser aren't going that big, they're staying in the 220-224 area.

Dont see where he stated that it need to be efficient...all he said was decent. I guess that comes down to each persons definition of "decent mileage". To me what I get is fairly decent...I average between 18mpg and 20mpg with about 50% highway and 50% city driving.

For what it's worth, I run a 222/226 .598 111LSA and my torque curve is beautiful. 300ft/lbs from 1500rpm right up to peak at around 4400.

I'm not sure which lobes I'll go with but I think I'll be going with a 220/224 112+2 LSA.

I'd call that fantastic... coming from a 350 tbi at 11 mpg. lol

But I get about your numbers in my GTO, so I would agree with that being decent in a truck. I guess I just assumed that labeling the truck a highway cruiser meant he didn't want to pay through the nose at the pump..
