    My passenger head had a port for a temp sensor blocked off wuth a plug. Driver side is for pcm.

    Thanks for that info Redheartbeat, I checked mine with infrared temp gauge and it was 40* off, dash gauge showed 120 and infrared showed 195, I am using the 3 wire temp sensor and only tied into the 3rd wire, ground. I still have 2 wire sensor for the computer.

    My 3 wire temp sensor is only off by 10*.I didn't like having the truck temp sensor in the back of the passenger side head because it was right in the way of the spark plug wire.

    I got this 3wire sensor duralast #tu178, and pigtail but its too big for my cyl head. Would I still need the s&p adapter? Or should I just run the stock 2wire and get the $60 adapter Ray got?

    Here is the 3 wire coolant temp sensor i got from Hawks 3rd Generation.I put in place of computer sensor in drivers side head and left passenger head plugged.
