My 4.8 has 190k on it and only uses a quart between changes. I wouldn't hesitate to buy one with a 100k on it. I'm thinking of going turbo and might get a 5.3 to swap in before I do. Thought about trying the 4.8 out first just to see if it'll last boosted.
