On the 03 harenss I spliced the wires from C2 on the Park/ Neutral switch. Which is white, gray, yellow and black and white wires to were the 97 wires went to the fire wall under the evap. On C1 at the trans (looking at the connector veiw) A to G, B to B, C to C, D to D, E to E, F to F. G to the starter relay.

got this info from a member in here wayoung.. he did a 4.8 into a 97 burb. im doing something similar and im also at the wiring part of the swap. i already modified the facory harness just haven't had a chance to install it.

i went through and relabled this for my own benefit later lol the colors are the wires from my 97 that i need to chase down and pin to the 02 ECM

A and B are the air temp wires.
C-E are all the MAF wires.

well i have some more questions

on the 4l80e which lines to where as far as cooler lines the front goes to the top of the cooler correct and bottom to the rear?

also do the 4l60e lines have the same fittings as the 4l80e?

    Answered my own question

    700R4/4L60/4L60E/4L65E
Fitting Location Thread Size Flow Direction
    Upper ¼" Pipe Return/in
    Lower ¼" Pipe Cooler feed/out

    4L80E/4L85E (1997 & later)
Fitting Location Thread Size Flow Direction
    Rear ¼" Pipe Return/in
    Front ¼" Pipe Cooler feed/out

what is this plug and what does it control? its a large pain in my ass atm and i want to know if i can just cut the damn wires instead of having to chase them down

i went through all data and i "think" this might be the p101 Grommet on the lower firewall but there is no picture and i dont see a wire schematic for it so i dont know wtf to do with it

the wires go inside and split to two seperate connectors

If you want to drop the cost of AN fittings get JIC 37deg fittings. They are interchangeable. Although JIC is typically steel and not as pretty.
