    Ruined an Ecoboost's day...

Coming home from work tonight and felt like going for a little tour, headed out to the rural part of town, going down a nice straight back road and I see this blue ford coming up quick, saw the licence plate bracket off to the side so I knew it was an Ecoboost. I slowed down a bit to 45mph or so and he came right up on my back bumper. He pulls out to pass and just floors it, let him get even with me and I downshifted to 2nd and put her to the carpet, redlined 2nd and came right to the top of 3rd which is a little over 100, he was at least 5 lengths behind me. I slowed down again to 60 or so and he went by me. Came to a stop sign, he was going straight and I was going left, he gave me a wave out the sunroof and carried on his way. That was fun, another kill under my belt.

Must say though, it was a sharp looking truck, nice metallic blue with nice rims and duals coming out the side on 45's.

Lots of people who have the egoboost think they have something. That's the point.

'no way in hell i'm going auto'- im the same way!!
any noises? I got one in mine behind a 5.3, i have changed from stock fluid, to royal purple, amsoil, and now im on redline. so far the redline has made it quiet and easier to shift. Curious to know which trans oil ur using? Also still have 3.23 gears?

I just have Syncromech in it, just changed it. No noises at all, my truck came with 3:42's from the factory.

Shoot my crew cab with cam and stuff couldn't catch a ecoboost! Think they run a 14.1 quarter and that's crewcab 4x4 with only a cai and tune
