Thread: some notes from a beginner, change rings or change pistons?

    cleand up the pistons today , the piston rings need a change ? i dont know, im soaking them in gas , will clean check them tomorow hope they do,

    well , preping the block for paint last night , and painted the valve covers and coil bracket,

    tell me what you think of the color, it is primer then red , then jut a touch of orange

    What are you gonna lube your pistons and rings with before u set them in cylinders? What lube for bearings?

    anothe thing, what grit to use when honeing the block , i have 180, will that be good?
