i found an intake and carb today. it's a recently rebuilt holley double pumper with a brand new victor jr intake. comes with the fuel bar, throttle brackets, gaskets and the fuel bar. 450 shipped.

Wow what a project!!! That was a great buy on the intake I think, I have an 01' S10 which I bought an LT1 to drop in. I can't afford to do another LS swap......
found a good deal on a new oil pan kit. comes from a hummer and gives enough clearance to where i dont need to cut my crossmember. PN# 19212593. comes with the pan, dipstick/dipstick tube, windage tray, pick up tube, gaskets and bolts. 132 shipped.
also trying to work a deal on a used MSD 6012 ignition and air cleaner. hopefully we can come to an agreement. this long term project is happening a little faster than i planned lol.
as for the transmission, i think phantom talked me into a full manual valve body 80e.
There's a guy on 67-72chevytrucks.com that just did a carb to EFI conversion on an LY6 engine. He still has alot of stuff for sale if you want me to fing the sale thread for you.
He also has a built 200-4R trans that was behind it for sale as well.
txoldskool? if so that's who i am trying to get the MSD and cleaner from. he left town so i guess he will contact me when he gets back in town. communicating through pm is a PITA sometimes lol. i'm in no hurry anyways and the market for the msd 6012 ignitions is just about non existant so im not worried about someone slipping in before i can buy![]()

picked up a MSD 6012 ignition controller with map sensor and an air cleaner today. $280 shipped.

i traded my ruger LCP for a set of new hedman ls1 swap fox body midlength headers that my dad had laying around. i doubt they will fit the s10 but i'm sure i can sell them for a good profit and put that money towards my headers. i only had $300 into my 380 lcp so i was totally willing to trade my $300 gun for $600 headersthe cam, carb and intake should be rolling in today
What springs did you use with your cam?
just spent my last big chunk of change on this thing. innovate MTX-I wideband, mandrel bends to finish exhaust, mufflers, tach, software for my transmission controller, trans temp gauge, pillar pod, trick-flow diff covor...basically everything to finish the build. i sold my holley 750dp and i'm waiting on my quick fuel 850 DP to come in. i really hope to be able to drive it to the SAR shootout. i see light at the end of the tunnel!
