I know of 4 LARGE plants in the area surrounding you (all in OK) off the top of my head, and I work strictly in the combined cycle industry.

If by "douche it up" you mean surround myself with people who take and give advice without having an argument for absolutely everything that someone posts on the site, maybe I'll do just that.

For someone that seems so desperate to find a job, you would think you would heed the advice of people who DO have jobs and are trying to help. You should consider being a little less arrogant to someone who is trying to lend you a hand.

Also, all 4 plants I mentioned are OUTDOORS power plants and would likely include much work outside, especially if you start out as an operator. They are located in:

    -Luther, OK
    -Jenks, OK
    -Newcastle, OK
    -Kiowa, OK

I hardly consider any of those a major relocation.

Like I said, I'm not interested. I'm interested in the collection side of things. I'm not desperate by any means. I can literally pick up the phone right now and have about 5 jobs around here. I made this post to get leads on potentially better paying jobs, which many people have generously provided. If I was being so arrogant, I highly doubt these people would have stuck their necks out for me. And by all means, please do surround yourself with those people and leave the performance websites to people who know how to do more than spray paint their door handles.
