I used my stock driveshaft 1992 5 speed with a 5.3.
Hey i just did a 5.3 5 speed swap in my 90 gmc 4x4, i was wondering if you did anything with your speedo because i got everything to work on the cluster except for that? Thanks
What did you change that the speedo doesn't work?I used a tremec 3450 5 speed from Rockland gear and my old speedo connector wouldn't plug in so i cut it off and found the right connector for the tranny and wired in the new connector.Works great.
I didn't change anything, I used the stock transfer case for the truck I just wasn't sure if I needed to change anything for the speedo. Just weird it stopped working when I put the 5.3 inOriginally Posted by gagliano7
