here is what im thinking. i already bought edelbrock headers and 2 cutouts and a x pipe, and on the truck i have a true dual set up with 1 chamber flows. could i cut out the cats and replace them with the cutouts or should i leave the cats and mount the cutouts to the headers? also what kind of sound and horse power gain will i get?

i just finished my exhaust. the set up i have sounds like something that you want. i've got dean lapole headers. removed the cats, duals into and X, cut outs, than the mufflers. you will need o2 sims for the rear o2's. running throught the mufflers sound real good. when the cut outs are open, sounds like open headers. performance is awsome. this is the best set up i've had out of the 10 times i've changed it. oh, my mufflers are meanstreak 2's
