thanks guys some love the red and some hate it. as to the gauge cluster that was a royal pain in my ass. finding all the wires from the stock wiring harness which did what and then running power and grounds for every light and gauge in there. the mirrors were a bad idea i found them on ebay and from the pictures they looked to be a decent size but when they arrived they were only 4". the other news is i have the motor out and sold it for 900 to another guy with a tbi. but i came to a complete hault last night when i went to put the ls into the truck. i bought the transdapt 4572 motor mount apapters and measured the centre hole on that and the centre hole on the tbi from the tranny housing face and the transdapt mounts move the motor back 1.5 so 14.5" from the tranny housing and the old tbi is right around 16" so what motor mounts should i get and what are the part numbers. the reason i went with the 4572 was because it was suppose to keep the motor in the stock location.

Dirty dingo is what im getting... they're adjustable so u can stick the ls in the original place. (And use the original frame brackets) Alot of ppl on this forum and others have used them and they're specifically designed for this kind of swap!! Just go to dirtydingo.com and use the motor mount kit for 88-98 4wd trucks and blazers.
