    blew my first 4l60e

    well went to the charity cruse this past sunday, was a lil hard on the truck as always and lost 3rd and 4th on 635

    should have it rebuilt with stronger clutches this weekend, just sucks that it gave out right at the beginning of the cruse..

    1989 RCSS 5.3/4L60E swap
    - 224/230 .581.591 112lsa,
    - 3200 Stall
    - DJM 4/6 drop
    - Nelson Tuned

    Building the truck GM never did..

    That blows! Was it a stock tranny.

    Welcome to the club!! Good luck getting it back running. BTW if the 3-4 clutches went you can still drive in 1st and 2nd.

    u might as well upgrade to something built real good. i blew 2 60e's and went to which i thought would be a goo upgrade the 6l90e and blew one of them too lol...goodluck

    Lol yeah it was a stock 60e with a servo and a stall, gonna tear it apart this weekend and upgrade all the clutches.

    I wouldn't mind a turbo 400 but I like over drive too much

    Just gonna fix it and start saving for a 80e
