I jumped completely over to Adam's from Meguiars and don't regret it one bit. Truck turned out good.

I haven't used many waxes but the last one I bought is freaking awesome. It's Collinite Fleetwax, it's a wax for boats (so it stands up to water a LONG time). Y'all should give it a try and tell me what you think, it was about $25 for a can of it. You really need to read the directions on how to apply it first...you pretty much apply it and take it off in about 15-30 seconds.
I think around 3 months after the wax job was when the water stopped beading on my hood.

I bought the Porter Cable kit with the 2 compounds and sealer, it's the cat's ass. But the polisher doesn't have enough balls for the bad bad stuff. Better to go up to the Flex kit for that I think. I use the Americana wax, and love it. I have the Brilliant Glaze for just a quick job after I wash it. I dunno if you paid any attention to my truck at SAR but it hasn't been polished since last spring, or waxed last fall. I just got it handwashed when I was down there and then threw some BG and on it.
The Super VRT is nice, on everything Vinyl Rubber and Trim. The leather/interior cleaner is the best I've ever used. And I buy the detail spray and all purpose cleaner by the gallon.
