    3k rpm rasp...

I've always had some rasp come in around 3k, but since the converter install I'm in that rpm more often now and wanna cure it.

Will adding a bullet in line before the muffler get rid of the rasp? Any suggestions?

Buy one of the lil bitty magnaflows! 5x8x6 body or round ones... i had one on my saab cause it was too loud and ut really cut down on the annoying high rpm tones you get going into the converter...

    Ok parts numbers are
    14149 for the 5x8x6 3" si/so
and 14159 for the round one 3"

    ^little one is pt# 14149
I can find a exhaust clip too of one with two mufflers

I had the same setup but my big muffler was a 5x11x22

Would it matter if it was in front of the muffler? because my current magnaflow is si/do so i would have to run the little magnaflow before the muffler.

I'm running the oval 22" magnaflow. It was fine before I removed the cats, but now rasp comes in at about the 3k mark.

Thats one of the "disadvantages" of removing the cats. How is your exhaust routed after the muffler?

SI/DO dumped in front of the axle.
