    Harness questions

I need some help with my wiring. I ordered a standalone engine/trans harness from nelson performance and I am trying to figure how/where i tie in my old 4wd harness. When I was ordering from them i expected the harness to come with all the 4x4 stuff but it doesnt because they said that the 4x4 harness isnt actually tied into the engine/trans harness and that the 4x4 harness was considered more "standalone". What I need to know is where it gets its signal from for power.

I replied in your thread about nelsons harness. If your 94 is like my 92 there's a lil power block under the dash on the. Drivers side that the 4x4 system gets its power from. So all of your factory connections for the transfer case stay execpt for the vss one. And like red said the reverse lights are in the with the colum because our trucks didn't have the switch on the trans like the newer ones do.

Thanks, Since our trucks didnt originally have that switch on the tranny and my new tranny is a 2000 that had that switch and i removed it....thats ok right?

Yeah. I don't have the switch on mine. I've never had a problem with mine.
