    I deleted all of that (canister and line running to tank) and have about a 10" hose from my tank that sits inside the rear frame rail to help the tank breathe

    That is pretty much what I did also. My only issue with this is, when I have the truck in a closed garage, it smells the garage up something terrible. Guess thats what the charcoal cannister helped with.
