Holy crap that is really really bad I would have to agree with a lot of other people that sounds more sever than just a lifter. Start from the most obvious/easiest to check and move down the list. Pull the valve covers and check the rocker arms, then check for metal shavings in the oil, and keep moving until you find the problem. I really really hope its nothing major. Goodluck and worse comes to worse you know the drill more cubes mow powa!!!

I have the truck at the shop. The noise comes and goes. Quit scaring him lol

I say it's a lifter or rocker. Unless the rods need to pump up with oil lol

In person it dont sound like a rod.

Sounds good. You are lucky to have such a great shop so nearby. Between NP, LSxPS, and the rest of the gang they have got Texas setup for sure. I wish it were like that elsewhere.

Yea like I mentioned I mess it up by right away jacking the truck up and starting it. Since it was sitting all night all the oil was at the bottom and lifters were dry , the noise was waaaay worse till I put the truck back down leveled then it started to go away since it was getting oil . I'll find out soon and yea Nelson is only 30 minutes away
