I've never done a 4l80e swap but ill look up the schematic.if you still have the same transfer case then all ur original wiring should stay the same. You might have a deal...its a lot of work so we might have to throw something else in there to sweeten the deal. Right now I'm not working so i have tons of free time. Pm me if your serious we can work something out.

We can rework a gen3 and gen4 harness, to clear things up.

Like she said we can build a new one for u as well.

Either way is fine and there's no difference other than the new one is really nice, uses all new components and laid out correctly so it lays over the engine really nice!
For a rework we remove all the junk and consolidate the grounds, powers and install an easy relay setup for ignition, a dlc connector with led, small fuse block and a waterproof sealed relay (sealed relay is a new thing).

    Thx for considering us!

If I remember correctly, the 4wd wiring isn't part of the engine harness, it's more of the bcm and chassis wiring if anything.
They may share some grounds and powers, but as for data and depending on one another, i don't think they do.
If it does require any signals from the pcm, or at least a vss input, that isn't included with our harness, because our harness is a stand alone, emissions free, engine and trans harness, as most harnesses are out there.

    hope this helps,
    allen

Talked to Erica again today and she straightened things out. I now have a clear understanding of what my options are and what needs to be done! A+ on customer friendliness/service.

Like Allen said the 4wd sytem in your truck is totaly idependnt of the engine harness. On my 92 there's a lil power distribution block on the drivers side under the dash that powers the indicator and the front axle. Only thing you need to connect from the gen3 harness is the vss connection that connects to the tail shaft of the transfer case.
