    steam vent??

been reading about this in a few swaps and not quite sure what it means? some people are drilling and tapping the waterpump then running a hose to the radiator. im not sure exactly what this does or why people do it. if anyone could shed some light on this it would be much appreciated

Im pretty sure it goes to the water cross over tubes. On the NBS trucks it goes to the radiator so by butting the hose there it draws water out and helps cool the heads.

that and actually helps remove air pockets that could be trapped in the back upper part of the heads. i just ran a F body crossover in front and back and connected them with a Tee and hooked to radiator
