SA Track worthy?

I see that quite a few of you guys go down to sa for the shootout. Looks like alot of fun, im hoping my new job starts in the next couple months and hopefully can do my planned mods.. tru trac, long tubes, tr220, transgo hd, 2800-3000 stall, nelson tune,and possibly spray, all on my little 4.8, just wondering if you guys think it would be worth bringing out with those mods next year? and also how to set up a tb spacer for spray, and what size slicks on a 16 wheel..

Dude it doesnt matter what you got or what it runs, just show up. Theres been guys that run 8 thru 20 second passes, its just a day of like minded peeps to hang out and have a blast.

Yea its a crap load of fun, and yes theres slow guys, I get my assed kicked every year, had to miss this year but ill be at the next.

28-30 inch tall tire for slicks, on the 16 rim will be fine. Just hook up a nozzle kit, or buy a used plate, trying to convert a tb acer into a nitrous plate isnt worth the hassle.

Word, last year I went out and ran a couple of 16.9's. It was still fun seeing all the other trucks still

I think its fun just to run ur truck full out legally and see what it can do. I also see it as motivation to go faster

well this will tell you how much faster people have gotten, cus the 1st year i was the fastest 5.3 and was in the quick 16 now i might make the top 75 hahaha
