    i just started making payments on a twin turbo kit for the ranger...

    no im steppin away from this motor..too many problems.
    prolly just go with the cheapest stock motor i can find..toss a cam and intake at it and see how much boost itll hold..

    Swap out the 4.8 for the new build, add enough pump to supply it (Aeromotive 1000), Boost Controller, Nice set of Drags, who knows what else, a lot of time before then and a lot of money that will pass thru my hands before then. 4 Link sounds cool...Lol, Line X, hell ALOT of stuff...

    Goal: demolish my time of 12.4 this year. Probably shoot for 10.999.
    --2013 CC Z71, Edelbrock charged, cam, long tubes, 4.5" Zone, 285/70/18 KM2s on Gear Big Block, Kenwood system, LineX, Retrax, Katskinz, NFab.
    --2012 Dmax CC Z71, Cognito UCAs, braces, Fox 2.0, LineX, Nfab, Retrax, Ranch Hand Front/Back, Custom Katskinz, Black Gear 18x9 wrapped in 285/70/18 Toyo MT.

    will have a th400 trans brake/NC verter/use the 2 step and meth...will be in the 10s!
