    Everyones plans and goals for next year.

    I know I'm not the only one planning some changes to the truck after this years SAR. So post up, let's see whats going on.

    Mine are,
    Get my headers and a decent exhaust on it
    T-56
    Set the rear suspension up
    Two step.
    4.56s or 4.88s and a Tru-Trac
    Lose some weight and move the battery to the bed.
    Get my nitrous working the way I want it to.

    make a clean pass..... i finally think ill be happy with my truck once it actually works right

    Glad your talking about the truck as far as losing weight. Haha if not, there'd be nothing left of you.
    You're going to hate the drive next time with 4.88's even with the T56. IMO

    I would hate to see what your truck actually runs on a clean pass. I was impressed as heck that your ext cab went 10s. That's fugging insane IMO

    with 488s and .5 OD of T56 and a 30" tire shoudl be around 2100 rpms @ 70...not all that bad..been there done that

    I'll probably drive down and drink more beer. I'm done running the crew cab. It's time to start the next project and I KNOW it won't be ready by then. I'll just pit crew.

    T70 or T76 @ 7 to 10 pounds, cam and install my 4.10s n locker. This year I finish paying for it so more money to spend on truck.


    4.8, TSP 220, 6L90 swap, 3400 Stall, 4.10s w/30" drag radial and T76 @ 16lbs.
    Best ET 11.54@114 w 1.52 60ft
    Raceweight 4905 lbs.

    Well, DESTROYED my tranny on the way home... so....

    buy fully built tranny and 3600 stall from 02camaroSS and get it put in (next week)

    get my electric fans installed (very soon)

    buy headers and a 3" ORY and get them installed (next couple months)

    get an electric cutout put on (same time as headers)

    get a set of caltracs put on (later in the year)

    buy a nice set of rear shocks and relocate them both behind the axle (same time as caltracs)

    and maybe a 150 shot or something...

    have no i dea lol one i dont wanna jinx myself i hadnt ran in the last 2 SAR events, hoping ill survive this year to make it next year running, BUT there is a BOOSTED engine in the works, big bore small stroke is all i know
    Simple: 408 on steroids!
    single digits coming soon!
