Someone mentioned earlier in this thread "competing" with the big 400+ci builds, sorry but a 10.9 is not competing when others are a second or more faster and 20mph. I know Mitch's truck is fast and looked forward to seeing it get a full pass, but saying it competed with the big builds is like saying I competed with some of the 6.0s and 408s etc. because I was only running a 4.8 and less than a second behind them or faster than some. Like someone else said it depends on how you want to play the game. Guess I could spray my 4.8 and run mid 11s easy, but I am opting for the larger displacement as well. Something is not done till it is done, but once Mitch gets the kinks worked out and runs what it is capable of, it is still a 10.9.

The big builds on this website are not the only big builds. I'm not riding anyone's nuts here. But for what Mitch is shooting for, he's in the running. Big builds on an ECSB and a RCSB are completely different.

im confused... i thought we were talking extended cab?? the rc guys are a different talk! he aint got shit for them!! not to start more shit of bench racing off time slips pieced together, but it went 10.9 @ 124 and ran 11.1 @132... its got more in it! if only all the bugs would get out

oops missed your last line! yeah i agree its not the fastest because it coulda... plenty more crap to fix. dont be looking for an 8 second pass to be with mic, fastlane, allen, etc tho...

ooohhh and i aint no nut swinger! mitch is a very close friend of mine (no homo) and ive been into that truck just as much as him from building his trans, being part of every part built, supplying the shop, helping with tuning for what i can etc. i just dont have to spend money

Not going to lie Ive talked trash about keeping up with the fully built guys but if I had the money I'd rock a 4 link and lsx block too. I think we all would. Taking credit away from someone just cause they're 4 linked or tubbed isn't cool. Talking shit about how our "stock suspension" trucks can run the same is just how the average joe makes himself feel better.
