i still gotta get me an AR then im set, id of course love to get a .50 so i could reach out at touch people at a mile away. Confirmed kill shot in afghanistan at 1.5 miles away by a damn canadian......he was using an american round though so thats gotta count for something

Our military can't afford .50 rounds I think a Brit has the record now with a .338 Lapua. Not sure.

yea its a brit, 8,000 something feet away he did it back to back shot 2 dudes right after another.

Correct, just over 2700 yards. First two shots were low, next two were kills. I was over there at the time and heard about it from a buddy working in JDOC. Pretty BA if you ask me!

2700 yards is absolutely incredible. I've done 1000 and that took every ability I have to hit a 20x20 square.

I wont get to in depth but I was prone next to a scout sniper while in iraq, on top of a 7 ton and looking thru the spotter scope he hit a "soft" target at 700 yards with the .50 honestly unbelievable what it did.
