Didnt read that thread, but i got one for the ability to run a short belt at the track. i wouldnt say its the best mod in the world by any means tho... dont hurt to have
I got mine cheap. I was already taking my other one off for a cam swap... Might as well.

If you can get it super cheap i'd say go for it... otherwise just stick with the stocker.

The rule for me is if it cost more than 25$ per hp gained its prolly not worth it. In this case you will likely spend $200 and get 10hp so you are safe IMO.
