I have a engine harness but need to hook up an obd2 port and was wondering what i need to do so. The harness is a 03 lq4. Another question is how can you tell what kind of transmission the harness is for.

If the harness came with an 03 LQ4 pretty good chance the trans it plugs into is a 4l80e.
