Towing 4k isnt that much. the new half tons are rated for over twice that. Its towing 10k that wears them out. The vortec max with max tow gives you the 14 bolt to top it off. Or get a gas 2500. Not the fancy new strut suspension but well capable to tow what you want.

Repair I think everyone has, but there is such a problem that it is not always possible to make it in time and quality because it is difficult to find a good mister.
